Insurance: Asset Protection/Risk Management

Many people don’t like to talk about insurance, or as it is sometimes called, ‘asset protection’ or ‘risk management’. For many of us, it conjures up unpleasant life experiences, or raises fears about death, serious illness or disability. Actually, asset protection is a good way of putting it. After all, you’re buying insurance to protect an asset. In many cases, we spend more than a $1,000 annually to insure a hunk of plastic on wheels. What about insuring your income in case of injury or death, or a sudden change in your health?

Although we will provide quotes that include insurance products that we offer, selling our product is not the main objective. The purchasing of any product comes only during the implementation stage of your plan. And asset protection analysis is part of developing that personalized values-based financial plan. We will also go over other asset coverage, such as your group insurance at work, as well as house and mortgage insurance, to ensure that you understand what you have, and that you are reasonably protected.
