When do you want to retire? What does retirement look like? How long will your retirement last? And perhaps most importantly, how much money will you need?

The National’s panel discusses retirement planning.
Those are questions Canadians grapple with all the time but most of all this time of year — during RRSP season.

Economists Patricia Croft and Jim Stanford, financial adviser Preet Bannerjee CBC chief economics correspondent Amanda Lang and Peter Mansbridge, host of The National, discussed the state of Canadians finances, and the picture isn’t always pretty.
