Vancouver Island Green Scene Networking Lunch Meeting

December 9, 2013

The Success Behind Great Design

Guest Speaker: Ann Squires Ferguson. More on Ann

Our Monday, Dec. 9th lunch will feature the ultra-talented Ann Squires Ferguson, a LEED Accredited Professional and Registered Interior Designer, and principal of Studio: Squires Ferguson, a full service Interior Design studio at 531 Herald, in the heart of Victoria’s Design District.

With degrees in Electro-Mechanical Engineering and Applied Design, and past lives that include growing up in a two-room log cabin without electricity or running water, repairing anti-aircraft guns in the Canadian Navy, and designing high end karaoke machines for the Asian market, Ann’s path to Interior Design has not been a typical one.
She has been practicing in Victoria for almost 10 years, and has 90 completed projects, ranging from a vintage Airstream trailer to an aircraft manufacturing facility.

Ann will share with us her environmental design ethos, “You cannot always make the best choice, but you can always make a better choice,” she claims.

  • Monday, December 09, 2013
  • 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM
  • The Marriott Hotel: 728 Humboldt St, Victoria, BC
