WEBINAR: for Unconventional Oil Webinar Series: Shale Gas

Sustainalytics would like to invite you to listen to their recent Unconventional Oil Webinar Series: Shale Gas.

Listen as Senior Analyst Dayna Linley discusses the potential risks faced by companies that continue to test environmental boundaries in oil and gas development. She will be joined by Elizabeth McGeveran, Senior Vice President, Governance & Sustainable Investment at F&C Management who will bring the investor’s perspective to the discussion.

The webinar guests will discuss the important role responsible investors play in decreasing impacts and mitigating risks associated with natural gas development. While pushing for best practices, responsible investors should also push for investment in renewable, sustainable forms of energy and for regulatory environments that incentivize such investment. They can use their leverage, through engagement and other means, to encourage the adoption and ongoing development of best practices, and encourage innovation among their holdings.
