OUR Ecovillage Tour

Greetings everyone! Summer is slipping by, but before it does we are going to pay a visit to our friends at O.U.R. Ecovillage near Shawnigan Lake.

For those who don’t know, O.U.R. Ecovillage is a 25 acre, permaculture based, working farm and educational demonstration site for natural building, organic and permaculture food production and sustainable living. We hope you can join us for what is sure to be an inspiring, eye opening, and FUN filled day! We have been visiting O.U.R. Ecovillage annually since 2009, and every trip has been better than the last. You don’t want to miss this!

SCHEDULE: Meet at the Burnside Gorge Community Centre, 471 Cecelia Road before 9:00am. Will do a head count and assign rides.
9am – 9:45am: Drive to the Ecovillage
10am – 12pm: Site tour
12pm – 1pm: Lunch
1pm – 5pm: Hands on Natural Building workshop (more info to come)

DRIVERS NEEDED! We will be carpooling to and from the Ecovillage. When you RSVP please indicate whether you can give others rides, and how many your vehicle can take.
