March 24th: "Climate Change & the Problem of the State"

Thursday, March 24, at 1:30pm St. John the Divine Church Lounge, behind the church at Quadra and Mason Streets

Professor M’Gonigle has come to the conclusion that states will not take effective action on Climate Change and that it is therefore up to the rest of us to address this overarching problem. He will use a local issue – and what we can do about it – to illustrate.

Michael M’Gonigle is an international lawyer and professor in the faculty of Law at UVic who specializes in environmental law and policy. Come hear this engaging speaker!

This is the regular monthly meeting of the Victoria Branch of the World Federalist Movement – Canada. Everyone is welcome, and refreshments will be served after the talk.
