Just as government is becoming more aware of climate change, investors need to know about the impacts climate change will have on their investments.

People need information about the companies and sectors they are investing in: the oil sands, the different kinds of renewable energies. Are we making business decisions based on profit or on our effects on people and the environment or on all three? Sustainability is about making a difference in terms of our footprint on the world, whether that is environmentally or socially and making a profit. The same decision making process and values are used to purchase locally that should be used in choosing to invest ethically.

Pre-registration required. Call (250) 405 3550.

Attendance is by donation to BC non profit the Dogwood Initiative.
